Explore Ensemble & Juliet Fraser

Explore Ensemble is considered one of Britain’s best up-and-coming new-music ensembles. For their Transit debut, they’ve brought along a top soloist, soprano Juliet Fraser, as well as a very fine selection of brand-new works.

Lisa Illean weaves a mesmerizing sonic tapestry with motives she found in nature, while Nicoline Soeter builds her piece with implicit memories. Joanna Bailie’s Dissolve makes the tnagible world disappear, whereas Oliver Leith’s Me Hollywood adds a soundtrack to it.
