The Dutch composer Huba de Graaff has caused furore for years with operas oriented to everyday life but in unexpected ways (her most recent opera, Liebesleid, is now touring fitness centres).

In 2015 she provoked audiences with her Pornopera, for ecstatic actress and two lovely harps. This is arousing music, in the best possible sense of the word (for those who doubt her cultural credentials, the work is based on Ovid).
