Tom De Cock & Klaas Coulembier

After making his Transit debut in the opening concert, the Italian composer Pierluigi Billone will be the central feature at this lecture-recital. Percussionist Tom De Cock is working on a Doctor of Arts degree centred around Billone’s solo percussion works. Here, in conversation with musicologist Klaas Coulembier, he will discuss this music and he will let us hear how Billone makes great music, even from automobile shock absorbers.
